Our Founder
Cecilia Lopez, founder of Laynez Bookkeeping & Tax, brings over 11 years of experience in the accounting field and a passion for helping businesses stay financially organized and confident. A proud graduate of the University of Houston, Cecilia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and is currently pursuing her CPA license to further expand her expertise.
Throughout her career, Cecilia has worked with a wide range of industries—including construction, real estate, restaurants, franchises, oil and gas, retail, and more—giving her a well-rounded understanding of each client’s unique financial needs.
Before starting her own firm, Cecilia gained valuable experience working for both a CPA firm and an oil and gas company, where she developed a strong foundation in accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting.
Today, through Laynez Bookkeeping & Tax, Cecilia is dedicated to providing reliable, accurate, and personalized accounting services to help businesses save time, reduce stress, and focus on growth.
